This is a scam faucet that is related to a network of sites. We have covered this group of scams extensively, they are easy to identify as they fundamentally share many of the same attributes. The ultimate goal of the site is to attract many users who they can show advertisements to, earning themselves revenue, while not paying out to the members who joined. Once the scam gets exposed, they spin up a brand new site and promote it extensively, repeating the cycle. So far we have identified 11 other sites and counting. Since this is the same basic scam with a new shiny cover, we will only discuss the basics below.
Gameplay and Structure
Every single one of these scam sites have the same basic game principle, you earn some sort of “energy” by completing tasks, and you spend them on activities which supposedly earn you money. You are provided an initial allotment, and will earn at a high rate. However, as you approach a withdrawal limit, your earning rates reduce significantly and if you do get above a payment threshold the wallets are often empty.

Withdrawal Limits and Payouts
These sites always require reaching a limit of $5 to $10, which is a super high threshold compared to actual legit crypto faucets. The payout rate, above $0.33 for a single activity, is the most attractive part of these sites. This often hooks people in, but things are always too good to be true. It’s easy to give out lots of money on paper if you never intend to pay your users. While other sites have lower earning rates, you will however be able to actually get paid.
Terms and Conditions
These sites all have roughly the same terms and conditions, basically stating that if they choose they can withhold payment and that all earnings have zero value.
Reviews
When these sites initially launch, there is a concerted effort to flood sites with positive reviews. It’s pretty obvious to many, but its goal is to deceive users. The review section on Hopping.io is only posted on their own site and not a third party page, so it’s easy to fake or curate what people see.
If you visit Trustpilot, these sites are often flooded with fake reviews. Over time however, real reivews show up and its clear that everyone knows its a scam. Luckily, Trustpilot has also gotten better at detecting and notifying you that there are fake reviews on the listing.
PaymentProof.club
As previously noted, often payment proofs are difficult to find for these sites. Typically they are only found on Paymentproof.club which we believe is an affiliated site that intends to provide legitimacy to these scams by faking payments. Something near 90% of all payment proofs on this site are for known and previously discussed scam faucets affiliated with this network. On this site, there is a compilation of payment proofs from Hopping.io, however they are faked easily, providing a link to a transaction on a blockchain does not show its origin. Additionally, all YouTube or Medium articles are often posted by no name accounts with limited activity prior to posting positive messages about the site.
Conclusion
It is obvious that this, like the 10 plus other affiliated faucets, is a scam. The same structure, gameplay, reviews and promotions are all a repeat of the efforts we have seen before. This network wants you to spend time earning fake money, while they reap the benefits of the advertising dollars. We anticipate this scam to keep growing, the operator doesn’t seem to have any issue spinning up new domains and attracting users. Stay diligent and spread the word, the only way to bring these down is to cut off their earnings by informing potential site users.
